1. Purchase Price vs. Cost Per Successful Result

Everyone starts with the sticker price. That was my first mistake.

  • You can absorb calibration and support costs without surprises

Rent or lease when:

  • Technology changes quickly (electron microscopy, spectrometry)
  • You need an instrument for a defined project, not ongoing use
  • You want one transparent contract covering support, maintenance, and calibration
